6 Amazing Moments in Your Life

Dear Peep,
Wow.  Wow!  6 years.  We love you, more than a boy has ever been loved.  Our waiting to get to each other has made every moment an invaluable jewel, a golden nugget in my life.  We have times of challenge, when your body is floppin' on the floor like a fish out of water, you're yelling, or begging; vying for 10 more minutes of that gawd awful show Pac Man or one more gummy worm.  It is all part of it, this deal of parenthood bequeathed to us by your birthmom, our JoJo.  Having her to share it with, commiserate and have as a friend has made it all the more enriching and loving for me.  For you, it brings you more people who love you and kids your age.  In the first 4 years we saw each other at least once a month but the last two life has been happening for all of us at break neck speed and while we talk, email or message each other frequently we meet up about every 2-3 months.  Can't wait for Spring Break so we can hang out together.
This year we aren't having a party but we are going to meet your Grandma P, Bahboo and Grandma Jean in Columbus for dinner where we will let you know of our surprise trip to the Louisville science museum.  We hope to find a great restaurant where you can choose a funky and exciting dessert.  So, 6 Amazing moments in your life...

1.  Life...Your birth family family, yeah, that is pretty important, because of JoJo you live and because she loves you so much and wanted you to have a stable home, to live in an open minded place, a mom and dad and a life with education and opportunities she chose us for you.  We get the honor.  I love that we are all family.  Our gratitude for the responsibility to love you and keep you growing and developing is beyond everything written, and our admiration, care and love for her.

2.  Us!  Your big family.  Mom and Dad, sister...everyone.

3...Becoming a big brother!
Day 4...Your awesome buddies.

5...Starting School, You've made friends on your own, can read and write and do some math and are interested in EVERYTHING>

6...You've developed the travel bug.  You love to travel and are ordinarily really flexible and up for adventure.

We love you stink.  Happiest 6th birthday to my sweet crazy baby.  Love, Mama

Happy Birthday Henry! I have been following your story since before you came home from the hospital, you are a special boy with an amazingly unique family :) Your Mommy was my teacher and one of the most kind people that I have ever met, I love hearing updates on your adventures!
