Big Bubbles, No Trouble

Dear Bubble Bandit, So fun that a year to the day after learning to tie your shoes (you are now a size 2 have grown your permanent front teeth in) you've learn to blow your first bubble.   http://www.thethompsonbaby.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-face-of-dude-that-just-learned-how.htmlA feat you've been attempting for years with slobbery gum ejected out of your mouth, tongue cramps and a little pop from time to time but no real braggable bubble.  Then, while tussling each other down the hall to see who could make it to your room first we slammed into the wall and you declared, "HEY!"  I turned toward your minty mouth and there it was! A perfectly round bubble.
We cheered, jumped and I was most impressed that you pulled it off with one of those grainy hard pieces of double bubble that has the elasticity of beef jerky.  We immediately ran to the kitchen and grabbed my camera for a repeat.  When you easily inflated another you smiled and ran from my camera to show dad before you lost it. Our plan for the weekend is get some real guns on the job, some juicy Gonzo Grape Bubblicious
or Cherry Cola Bubblicious
or some Seriously Strawberry Hubba Bubba, the

or if your jaw gets sore, the super soft Bubble Yum may be best,

all the tools of my 80's childhood poppin' and snappin'.  The challenge will be that these are practically artifacts, vintage gums at this point.  They are hard to find, but not impossible.  I can't wait to blow giant bubbles together and smash yours, as you have mine for years and years with your dirty little fingers.   Let the fun begin!  Skills! A little motivation for the weekend! Enjoy! That is Leonardo DiCaprio.

Love, Mama
