Grandpa Tim came to town to attend your adoption finalization and came to spend the night to spend some time with you. He came bearing some special gifts. If you remember Grandpa Tim has a big oldie tyme John Deere tractor you sat on back in the summer. He decided to get ya a big puzzle, a book with little hidden story flaps and a t-shirt with a tractor. I suppose he wants you to know that the Thompson family has a long tradition of farmers, the Foldenauers were farmers too. You really loved the bows. I stuck them on your head to try and refocus your attention on tearing off the wrapping paper. It didn't really help. You yanked on the ribbons and chewed on the paper. You got really excited about the book and gave your signature growl at it and thumped away at the cover. It was fun watching the first present you've ever open yourself unfold. I can't wait until Christmas!
